Workshop Presenter: Gerri Almand, DTM “How a Book was born”
Gerri Almand, DTM, never intended to write a book, just as she never planned to tootle around the country in a tin-can house. After her husband sweet-talked her into an RV purchase, she turned their travels into a humorous Amazon Best Seller, The Reluctant RV Wife.
Gerri credits Toastmasters for giving her the discipline, skills, and confidence to see a book through from an initial concept to a completed manuscript. Today she will share choices she made along the way—with writing, editing, publishing, and marketing. While her book might NEVER persuade anyone to buy an RV, she hopes her story will inspire others to write their dreams.
